Going up the East River tonight, I set my camera on the edge of the tug, hoping to capture streaks of light as we went by.
What I didn't think about was the effect the vibration of the tug would have on the lights.I thought, Oh, cool!

Wow, very cool effects! I would not have anticipated the vertical effect the vibrations obviously caused... I was anticipating streaks of light.
